Following is an interview I recorded last week with a young American singer/songwriter who was something of a child prodigy on the guitar, appearing on US tv at the age of 6 and playing with blues legend Buddy Guy before he was a teenager. This is an interview I had a couple of days ago with John Murphy, a muso from many years back. In fact he was one of the original Foreday Riders but today i’m are talking to him about his recording project with the occasional band, The Woodpickers and playing a few tracks from their 4th album release “Turning Blue”.
