(THE JOHN FLANAGAN TRIO) A couple of day’s ago I caught up with John Flanagan, leading light in the John Flanagan Trio and a man who has been compared to James Taylor and Paul Kelly for his warm vocal delivery and engaging storytelling. (KYLIE RYAN) In for a chat today is Kylie Ryan, a young lady that has moved around a fair bit in her life – born in Inverell, lived in Wagga Wagga, Chiang Mai Thailand but now resides in Western Sydney. She’s enjoying great success with her latest single “Everytime” taken from her debut EP “Dream Chaser” released late last year. (LAPIS SKY) In for a chat today was Claude Fonseca, base player and front man of local Sydney band Lapis Blue who are currently enjoying success with their second album simply entitled “2”. Claude will be playing a couple of tracks from the new album and also picking and talking about a few tracks by other artists that have in some way meant something to him in his musical career. (FOURPLAY STRING QUARTET) Today’s chat is with Lara Goodridge who constitutes one quarter of the Sydney based indie rock band FourPlay String Quartet. Although all members of FourPlay had formal classical training, the band play an eccentric form of rock music, with subtle influences include jewish as well as gypsy, pop, folk, hip-hop, electronica, post-rock, folktronica and many other forms. (LUCY WISE) A few of days ago I had a chat with Melbourne based singer songwriter Lucy Wise. She’s delighted audiences across Australia, New Zealand, USA and the UK with her own mix of folk and pop music and she’s also just released a new album “Winter Sun” and is currently on an east coast tour to promote the same. (ARCHIE ROACH) A couple of day’s ago I had the privilege of talking to indigenous legend Archie Roach.  Roach and Tiddas are currently touring Australia promoting Archie’s latest offering “Dancing With My Spirit” – recorded over two decades ago by producer Jen Anderson. Circumstances at the time saw the demo shelved and virtually forgotten, until now.
