2017 Emerge Festival

Willoughby City Council will be holding the 2017 Emerge Festival throughout the month of September.

One of the highlights of the festival is the StreetFair which will be taking over the Chatswood CBD on Saturday September 2, with information on getting to the event available here.

In the leadup to the StreetFair Simon Hodges spoke with Willoughby City Council’s Acting General Manager Greg McDonald.


Holding The Man

The latest production from the Lane Cove Theatre Company is Holding The Man, a play written by Tommy Murphy based on the memoir of Timothy Conigrave. Six evening performances and one matinee performance will be taking place between Friday August 11 and Saturday August 26 at The Performance Space at St. Aidans, 1 Christina Street Longueville, with more information available here.

UPDATE: An extra matinee performance has been added – Sunday August 27 at 2pm.

Roseville Chase Rotary Fun Run

The Roseville Chase Rotary Fun Run for 2017 is going to be happening on Sunday July 30, with Castle Cove Oval as the start/finish area. Registrations received after Saturday July 22 will incur a late entry fee. More information about the community event and registration costs here.

An Inspector Calls

Simon Hodges spoke with Helen Williams, the director of An Inspector Calls, the play that Pymble Players will be performing in a run of shows on various dates between Wednesday July 19 and Saturday August 12 2017 at the old Pymble Chapel Church Hall, located on the corner of Mona Vale Road and Bromley Avenue.
